Biofinity XR silicone hydrogel contact lenses were developed by Cooper Vision specifically for patients with high degrees of myopia or hyperopia. For the correction of high degrees of myopia (from -12.5 to -20.0) and hyperopia (from +8.5 to +15.0).

Features of Biofinity XR contact lenses

Most contact lenses are designed in the mid-range of +8.00D to -12.00D. If your prescription goes beyond these diopters, there are few options: either hard RGP contact lenses, which provide less comfort, or soft contact lenses, which are usually very expensive or with minimal oxygen transmission to the eye, creating discomfort when worn. The new Biofinity XR lenses are available up to +15.00 D and -20.00 D, in increments of 0.50 D.
